Jury Duty

Jury duty is an obligation and an honor. As a juror, you do not need any special knowledge or ability to participate. It is important that you keep an open-mind, pay attention to the proceedings, and let neither sympathy nor prejudice influence your decision.

Be advised that jury duty may involve long periods of waiting.  Please feel free to bring reading materials with you.  We will do our best to minimize periods of waiting and we appreciate your patience.

We hope you find your experience as a juror interesting and satisfying.  Thank you for your willingness to serve.

If you are summoned for jury duty, please call the court at 206.870.7575 after 5:00 p.m. the evening before your scheduled jury service for a recorded message.
Occasionally, a case may settle before a scheduled jury trial and the recorded message will advise you whether your appearance is necessary.

Check-In Time: Check-in time is 8:30 AM. You will be subject to a security check prior to entering the jury assembly room and/or courtroom. We appreciate your patience during the screening process.
